Kate Hutson

Kate Hutson is a master at helping leaders embody their fullest potential—bringing more self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and aliveness into their leadership. She works as a coach and consultant for The Conscious Leadership Group. Her clients include: social impact leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers who are not just shaping industries but redefining the way we lead, connect, and create. Her coaching isn’t just about solving workplace challenges—it’s about unlocking new levels of vitality, creativity, and relational depth. Kate’s style blends deep challenge with playful curiosity, creating a space where leaders can explore, experiment, and transform. She guides clients in moving beyond intellectual understanding into embodied leadership—helping them process emotions, shift patterns at a nervous system level, and build the internal capacity for greater trust, resilience, and impact. The result? Less workplace drama, stronger teams, and a leadership presence that inspires lasting change.

With a B.A. in Psychology from Miami University and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, Kate spent over a decade as a psychotherapist before stepping into leadership coaching. Her background in Somatic Experiencing allows her to integrate the mind-body connection into her work, offering a holistic approach to leadership growth that goes beyond strategy into deep, sustainable transformation.Outside of coaching, Kate finds joy in the simple things—walking along Lake Michigan with her dog, hosting friends for deep conversations, and exploring the vibrant streets of Chicago. She believes that leadership is an embodied practice, that play is a portal to transformation, and that the way we move through the world matters just as much as what we create.
