GXC Live Speaker - Daniela Riccelli

Daniela Riccelli

Dr. Daniela Riccelli, DSW, LCSW, is a seasoned behavioral health leader, clinician, and educator with extensive experience across the full continuum of mental health and substance use treatment. She currently serves as Director of the Mental Health Program at Futures Recovery, where she oversees clinical operations, staff development, and trauma-informed programming while mentoring emerging clinicians through structured group supervision models.

With a Doctorate in Social Work and a multidisciplinary background that bridges clinical practice, supervision, and holistic wellness, Dr. Riccelli is deeply committed to advancing recovery-oriented systems of care that honor the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. Her work integrates evidence-based interventions with trauma-informed principles, nervous system regulation, somatic bottom-up healing, and strengths-based approaches that empower both clients and clinicians.

For Dr. Riccelli, the recovery movement is not simply about symptom reduction or abstinence. It is a living, relational process rooted in dignity, connection, accountability, and hope. She views recovery as the courageous reclamation of one’s voice, identity, and capacity for meaning — a journey supported through compassionate structure, community, and skilled clinical guidance.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Riccelli is an active presenter and developer of innovative group supervision frameworks designed to build confidence in early-career therapists while preventing burnout and fostering what she describes as “Achieving Confidence and Competence” — the sustainable fulfillment that emerges when clinicians are properly supported.

Her professional and personal philosophy is grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship, growth requires both structure and compassion, and recovery is possible for every individual when systems of care remain human-centered, culturally responsive, and spiritually informed.
